About the body armor now

If you have watch the movies based on the medieval times for instance troy, gladiator, etc. you will se that the body armor  worn back then was completely different than the body armor that we have now. The warriors had body armor made out of metal  which was on only very hot but it was also every uncomfortable. The warriors had to get use to the metal body armor. Their  body armor was different because the weapons used back then were also different. We don’t use the same weapons that they used  anymore. We have new arms and ammunition now and in order to protect ourselves from these weapons the body armor worn back  then will not have any effect at all. The metal body armor has been replaced by a bulletproof vest now. So you won’t be  seeing anyone wearing a metal armor anymore.

There are different kinds of bullet proof vests in the market today. Some can be camouflages by wearing them on the inside of  the clothes and some need to be worn on the outside. The ones that are worn inside the clothes are more expensive. You will  mostly see cops using the ones that are worn on top of the clothes. You may think that the bullet proof vest protects the  wearer from all the bullets being shot in that particular area. You are completely wrong. Wearing a bullet proof vest doesn’t  make the wearer invincible. There are a lot of parts of the body that are exposed to the bullets.

Also if a bullet is shot from a very short range then the vest may not be able to keep the bullet from penetrating the body.  Even if it does it will cause some bone damage in that area. A bullet when fired has a lot of speed and velocity and if it is  shot from a very close range then the effect is even more. If it is shot form a greater distance then may be there won’t be  any kind of damage. So if you need to buy a bu7llet proof vest then you will have to think about all this. It is your life that you will be  thinking about and so make sure that you buy the best bullet proof vest possible. Don’t worry about how much you are spending  on it because you cannot put a price on your life.
